    • A really chill and classic place in Hillcrest that serves all kinds of meats, game, and amazing mac n'cheese! It has an awesome cocktail list that serves all the old-time favorites, including a great Mint Julep. It has a southern feel, with hearty sides but also light apps and salads. Comfortable leather seats and antlers decorate the interior which has nice dim lighting and a swanky bar area. We go here a few times a month and it's a great treat.

      They have a great breakfast on the weekends as well as ping pong in the sideyard for weekend fun and beer drinking!

    • This is a small taqueria in the Emerald Hills area of Redwood City, CA. The one thing that makes this place stand out for me are the fish tacos. Two fish tacos, chips and salsa, and an ice cold beer. Don't bother ordering anything else. Enjoy!

    • I have only had brunch here but from that one simple meal I was so impressed! The owner and head chef greeted our group and seated us at a large common table with a few other couples.

      We had a four course brunch, french press coffee and a wonderful view of the open kitchen area. The food is simple and amazing, the atmosphere is fresh and vibrant. I especially appreciated the rock music playing over the speakers while we were eating thoughtfully prepared dishes. What a fun juxtaposition of "fancy" and "casual".     • Kennedy Fried Chicken has that old school-new school mix of the typical foods that we, Americans, love including seafood, some Mexican and Italian influences. Also, it really inexpensive, like on that fast food status.

    • Nestled in downtown Colorado Springs, Shuga's serves up delectably unique dishes, a stylish atmosphere and TK. More than a deli, you can expect to find great sandwiches, but also some truly innovative dishes. The Spicy Brazilian Coconut Shrimp soup stands out as one of the best soups to be had in Colorado Springs.

      Shuga's is great for a date, or to hang out with friends. The atmosphere is subdued enough that it can be romantic, but it's got a vibe that makes it fun for all.

    • Sister restaurant to The French Laundry in the Napa Valley, Bouchon Bistro is a touch of le Boulevard du Montparnasse right here in Northern California. Having recently discovered the fantastic left bank bistros of Paris, I was ecstatic to find Bouchon. They serve classic Parisian bistro cuisine: steak frites, croque madame, soupe a l'oignon, bouillabaisse. The atmosphere is wonderful. I actually felt surprised when the staff kept speaking to me in American English.

      Mai Thai is small, yet highly decorative. The staff is friendly and prompt.

    • I could eat at Park & Oxford everyday! They have the best sandwiches ever! The rolls and bread are always the freshest They use Boar's Head meat and I've have never had a bad sandwich there! The staff is awesome too! This place is a must if you're ever looking for a good sandwich!!

    • Charlie's Frog Pond is a great place to eat! I love their breakfast and never know what to get because everything is so good! They have the best french toast on thick cut Italian bread! The prices are great and the atmosphere is fun and unique! Great little place to try!
